At Anheuser-Busch, we are always challenging ourselves to take our environmental stewardship one step further. Building upon our breweries’ renewable energy installations, in 2017 we partnered with Enel Green Energy to acquire 50 percent of our total purchased energy from the Budweiser Wind Farm at Thunder Ranch in Oklahoma. This landmark agreement – which adds to our existing alternative energy investments in solar, wind, anaerobic digesters, and landfill gas – will produce more energy annually than we use to brew Budweiser!
As we write the next chapter in Anheuser-Busch’s great story, we want to stay in touch with you!
Learn more about how at Anheuser-Busch we are challenging ourselves to take our environmental stewardship one step further:
The Budweiser Wind Farm at Thunder Ranch, near Billings, OK, is Anheuser-Busch’s first-ever contracted utility-scale renewable energy project. It will not only dramatically reduce our emissions, but will also feed into our goal of purchasing 100% of our energy from renewable sources by 2025. The partnership will also provide revenue certainty for Enel, fostering the growth of the global clean energy economy and supporting American clean energy workers and jobs.
